Richemont's watchmakers have announced the models that will be unveiled in Geneva at SIHH 2015. Panerai has created a ceramic version of their timepiece that is powered by its first automatic chronograph movement. After its main characteristics, the new watch has been named Luminor 1950 3-Day Chrono Automatic Ceramica. The features include a stopwatch with a flyback feature, automatic winding, and extending power storage to 72 hours. The latest edition of the model is housed in zirconium oxide ceramic. It also features the Paneria-typical design with a central minute indication that is not conventional for its chrono functionality.

The Italian company had previously launched versions of the same model with housings made from stainless steel or red gold. The new watch will be displayed on ceramic clothing. The brand uses zirconium dioxide, a fine powder that is pressed and then shaped using grinding. The result is a material that looks great and has impressive resistance to scratches and bumps. It has a distinct black color thanks to the pigments added. Sandblasting is the preferred decoration that makes it look even more distinctive.best replica watches
The new watch is powered by Caliber P.9100, a 37-jewel self-winding chronograph movement from the Italian watchmaker. The caliber, which contains 207 components, was developed and manufactured in Neuchatel. This is a vertically coupled column-wheel clock. The newer column-wheel type chronograph has several advantages in terms of reliability and functionality compared to traditional horizontally coupled types. This arrangement also ensures that the stopwatch feature doesn't deplete the power reserve of the movement. Many connoisseurs say that the feature is difficult to maintain.
Flyback chronographs are supported in this case. When activated, a second push of the button resets the clock to its starting point. The in-house movement, which measures 31 mm (Replica Richard Mille), and is 8.1 mm thick, also has a power reserve of three full days. The twin spring-barrels are mounted in series to achieve this. The rotor is bi-directional and fills the barrels. Caliber P.9100 is equipped with a variable-inertia balance, and it runs at a frequency of 4Hz. The balance wheel with single bridge comes with the KIF-Parechoc System for its protection and stability.
The newcomer in the Luminor 1950 family has a Panerai-like styling that is easily recognizable and tends to polarize enthusiasts. The crown protector is one of the distinguishing features of this watch. It's located on the side of the ceramic housing, which measures 44 mm in width. The chrono pushers have been placed on the opposite side to the housing. Model PAM580 has sapphire crystals both on the front and back of the watch.
